Biography
This is Kathleen's sixth year as an 8th Grade Humanities Teacher and Advisor at East Side and her seventh year teaching in NYC Public Schools. Kathleen was born and raised in New York and after finishing college with BAs in English Literature, French and Philosophy, Kathleen worked as an editor and translator. She then attended Columbia University's Teachers College, where she completed her Masters in 2004. Outside of her love of teaching at East Side, she also loves The New York Mets, reading, cooking, travel and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Manhattan with Mike, her husband, her daughter, Kaitlyn, and her dog, Ammey.
