Biography
My name is Leona Gross and I teach 7th grade Humanities at East Side. I also teach Greek Mythology and Classic Literature in the Middle Scholars program. This is my tenth year teaching, 9 of those years I have spent at East Side. I graduated from Columbia University in 2001 with a degree in English and Secondary English Education. This summer I adopted two kittens, Bernie and Mac, who I love to pieces! I am always reading something...from classic literature to vampire stories! I love my students, traveling, cooking...and East Side! :)
