We are a small 6-12th grade college preparatory school dedicated to the belief that all students can, must and will learn and succeed academically. We set high standards for each of our students and help them meet these standards by providing personal attention, a safe and respectful environment, a strong sense of community, and curricula that is both challenging and engaging. Parents/ Guardians, are you looking for a new MS or HS for fall 2010? As of now, we have completed all of our scheduled OPEN HOUSE/ School Tours (1-7). These took place throughout October and November '09. If you have any additional admissions questions, please contact Yolanda Betances, Assistant Principal/ Family Services at 212.460.8467, ext. 1586.

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION FOR CURRENT YEAR 2009-2010-- [Note: this DOES NOT apply to new applicants for a Sept. 2010 start (2010-2011 school year)]:

Some openings may be available in all grades (EXCEPT in 9th and 10th grades--NO OPENINGS). If a student is NEW to the NYC public school, you must visit the enrollment center in Manhattan at 333 7th Avenue. There, you must obtain a "referral letter" from the enrollment center before an interview at EAST SIDE takes place. Again, this is for NEW students. There are NO Department of Education "school to school transfers" for existing students.
